How ResellerScore collects, uses, and protects the information needed to operate the service.

Last updated: September 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ResellerScore™ (also operating as ValorReventa™) ("ResellerScore," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and application (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. When you create an account, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your name, email address, and login credentials. We do not store your password ourselves.
  • Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number; Stripe provides us limited details such as your subscription status and the last four digits of your card.
  • Content you submit. When you scan or upload photos of items, we process those images (including via third-party AI services) to identify the item and estimate its resale value. We also store the items, notes, and inventory data you choose to save.
  • Usage and device data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages viewed, actions taken, browser type, device, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service and its features;
  • Identify items and generate resale value estimates and ResellerScores™;
  • Process subscriptions, trials, and billing;
  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure;
  • Communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates;
  • Analyze usage to understand and improve product performance and user experience.

Analytics and session replay (Microsoft Clarity)

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our site through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. Clarity captures usage data using cookies and similar technologies; this data is used to improve our product and for analytics. Clarity is configured to mask text and input fields by default so that information you type is not captured in recordings. For more information, see Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

ResellerScore Browser Helper

The optional ResellerScore Browser Helper is a Chrome extension that presents a listing draft you created in ResellerScore as a copy-ready kit and opens a marketplace workflow only when you choose an action in the extension. On supported guided marketplaces, you can then ask the helper to read the open new-listing form and place seller-reviewed details into compatible empty fields. Pending actions may include an item's title, description, price, condition, quantity, SKU, brand, model, size, measurements, product code, colors, material, style, department, category, subcategory, original price, search tags, and Inventory photos attached to that action. Photo URLs remain on ResellerScore's server; the helper requests one authorized image at a time and supplies its bytes only to the matching new-listing page. For an existing-listing action you explicitly request, it opens the saved public listing and shows the requested instruction.

The extension writes the seller-selected listing-kit field or complete kit to your clipboard only after you choose a copy control; it never reads your clipboard. Temporary access to a marketplace tab begins only when you open the extension on that tab. The helper limits its Browser Helper 0.4 guided preparation to compatible listing fields and photo inputs, preserves values you entered, and does not read passwords, authentication cookies, private messages, payment details, or CAPTCHA responses. It does not press a marketplace's final Publish, Sold, Remove, or Delete confirmation. You remain responsible for reviewing every listing and completing every final marketplace action.

A private ResellerScore connection code and pending actions are held only in protected Chrome session storage and are cleared when the browser session ends or you disconnect. The extension periodically contacts ResellerScore while connected to retrieve pending actions. It sends action status back to ResellerScore and, after you confirm that a draft was published, the public marketplace listing URL so we can monitor the correct listing. Connection codes are stored as one-way hashes on our server.

Information handled by the Browser Helper is used only to provide, secure, support, and improve its user-facing listing-assistance function. We do not sell this information, use it for advertising, or use it for credit or lending decisions. We disclose it only to the service providers needed to operate ResellerScore, when you direct the extension to copy a reviewed listing kit, or when required for legal or security purposes described in this policy.

The ResellerScore Browser Helper handles, uses, and transfers user data in compliance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
